Biography

Kay Ogedengbe is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Kay Consulting Group, LLC, specializing in Interim Nursing Home Administrator services. She provides experienced executive leadership support to ensure stable operations, regulatory compliance, and continuity of care during administrator vacancies and organizational transitions.

With more than 20 years of experience in long-term care, Kay has successfully guided healthcare organizations through complex operational challenges, regulatory surveys, organizational transitions, and growth opportunities. Her expertise spans skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, memory care programs, and senior living organizations.

Prior to establishing Kay Consulting Group, Kay served in Social Services Director roles across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. In these positions, she developed extensive expertise in resident advocacy, care coordination, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary team leadership. She later advanced into executive healthcare administration, working as a Traveling Interim Nursing Home Administrator with nationally recognized consulting firms, including Health Dimensions Group, Clinical Resources LLC, and Polaris Group.

During her tenure with these organizations, Kay successfully completed a wide range of executive leadership and interim assignments for healthcare providers and senior living organizations, including Ascension, Covenant Living Communities and Services, and Little Sisters of the Poor.

A core area of her expertise is navigating complex regulatory environments, with deep knowledge of CMS compliance, Illinois and Wisconsin state regulations, survey readiness, Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI), and risk management.

Her leadership assignments consistently produced positive operational outcomes, including successful leadership transitions, census growth, staff retention, and financial stabilization. Her reputation for delivering measurable operational results has made her a trusted advisor to healthcare executives, governing boards, and organizational leaders.

Kay is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Health Administration, further strengthening her commitment to advancing organizational excellence, operational sustainability, and innovative administrative solutions in the long-term care sector.
